Every year over 1000 abstracts of exceptional quality are submitted for presentation at the Annual Meeting of ESPGHAN. Delegates at the previous Annual Meetings enjoyed fascinating sessions on a huge range of topics. Networking sessions around the extensive poster display are a great aspect of the meeting. Submitting an abstract for the 54th Annual Meeting provides a great opportunity for your work to be viewed by thousands of peers from all over the world.
After your submission
After successful submission of your abstract, you and all indicated authors of your abstract will receive an automatic submission confirmation by email.
The reviewers will judge the abstracts according to the relevance to ESPGHAN 2022. They will assess the standard of English, objectivity of statements, description of the work, suitability of methods to aims, conclusions confirmed by objective results, ethics, scientific value, potential clinical value, originality of work and overall impression.
The submitting author will be notified from 17 February 2022 onwards whether the abstract has been accepted. Notifications will be sent via email to the email address of the abstract submitter provided (corresponding author) during the online submission. It is the authors’ responsibility to ensure that emails from ESPGHAN and from the submission tool (abstractserver.com) can reach them. Within the notification authors will be informed of the date, time and form of their presentation.
All accepted abstracts will definitively be published in digital format. All abstracts accepted for presentation will be published in digital format on the congress website, in the congress app as well as on the website “Congress Talks & Speakers”. The abstracts for the 54th Annual Meeting of ESPGHAN will also be published as abstract book in the Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition (JPGN). Please note, that the abstracts will be published approximately three weeks prior to the meeting.
