Registration

The congress registration is only possible online. Every participant is responsible for the correctness of the given data. The payment of the registration fee has to be made online during the registration process using the payment methods provided. A submitted registration is binding.

Registration for the ONSITE congress includes

  • A name badge
  • Access to all booked scientific sessions and poster/ePoster area
  • Access to the industry exhibition
  • Access to industry symposia
  • Access to all recorded sessions
  • All personal congress documents
  • Coffee breaks and lunches
  • Public transportation ticket (Thu - Sat)
  • Invitation to the Welcome Reception
  • Certificate of attendance & CME certificate (only for participation in scientific sessions during official congress days)

Please note that the courses on Wednesday as well as the Learning Zones and Meet-the-Expert Sessions need to be booked separately and are not included in your registration fee.

ESPGHAN and NASPGHAN Members (reduced rates only available for onsite participants)

To be entitled to register at the reduced member rates, the attendee has to have a paid active membership in one either the ESPGHAN or NASPGHAN Member Society before starting the registration process. Membership must be valid at the time of the ESPGHAN 54th Annual Meeting.

Registration for the ONLINE congress includes

  • Access to the online platform incl. all scientific sessions of the main meeting and to the ePosters during and after the congress
  • Certificate of attendance & CME certificate (only for participation in scientific sessions during official congress days)

Please note that the Course Day on Wednesday needs to be booked separately and is not included in your registration fee.

The Learning Zones, Meet-the-Expert Sessions and Working Groups are only available onsite and will not be available online.

Change of registration

The participant must inform the congress organiser immediately about any change of registration. All changes must be submitted in writing to: espghan@eurokongress.de.

A change of an online to an onsite registration is possible up until the onsite registration deadline on Tuesday, 07 June 2022. Onsite tickets are subject to availability.
In case the onsite registration fee is higher than the online fee, the surplus has to be settled immediately upon receipt of the respective invoice.
In case the onsite registration fee is lower than the online fee, the difference will only be reimbursed if the change is received up until 20 April 2022. The onsite registration fee valid at the time of the change will be due.

A change of an onsite to an online registration is possible until 01 June 2022.
In case the online registration fee is higher than the onsite fee booked, the difference has to be settled immediately upon receipt of the respective invoice.
In case the online registration fee is lower than the onsite fee, the difference will only be reimbursed if the change is received up until 20 April 2022.

A service fee of 30 € applies for all changes.

Cancellation

Cancellations have to be submitted in writing to: espghan@eurokongress.de.

Cancellations received up until Wednesday, 20 April 2022 incur a cancellation fee of 50 € for the congress (onsite and online) and of 25 € for the courses (onsite and online). From this date onwards, registration fee reimbursements are no longer possible unless the organisers are provided with a named replacement who will take on the registration.

The registration fees for the Meet the Expert Sessions, the Learning Zones as well as for the ESPGHAN Members Evening are non-refundable.

Onsite Access

Upon arrival at the congress venue, every participant will receive her/his personal name badge, which must be worn visibly for the entire duration of the congress. It is not possible to collect a badge for another participant. The name badge acts as a personal entrance ticket for the congress and is non-transferable to other persons. Please be aware that badges will only be handed out if the registration fee is fully paid.

For the reprint of lost badges, a fee of 25 % of the original registration fee applies.

Online Access

Every registration is per person and every participant receives a personal login. It is not allowed to share the link and to login to the online platform with a login of a third party. Please be aware that the login details will only be sent if the registration fee is fully paid.

Please note that no refunds will be made if you are unable to view the live sessions due to the speed of your internet connection or a technical problem with your IT equipment.
In accordance with the presenters the scientific sessions of the main meeting will be recorded and made available on the online platform.

COVID-19 Regulations

The congress will apply to all necessary COVID-19 regulations valid at the time of the congress. The congress organizer reserves the right to check the delegates’ proof of vaccination/recovery/negative test and to limit the access to delegates fulfilling the current regulations.

Any onsite participant with signs of illness indicating an infection with COVID-19 (fever, cold, cough or similar) or participants that have been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days are not allowed to enter the congress venue.

This rule also applies to participants that have been in contact with a person, who is infected with COVID-19 (documented or assumed). This exclusion does not apply to health care professionals who have professional contact with COVID-19 patients as long as all relevant safety measures were respected.

Access to the congress (onsite and online)

All attendees must be over the age of 18.

Registration is only allowed for health care professionals, students, associated press, industry representatives and other stakeholders in the field of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
Attendees might be asked to provide a proof of status (e.g. ID card, student ID, confirming letter of workplace) when requested.

There might be restrictions to access certain areas of the industry exhibition onsite due to regulations for advertising of pharmaceutical products to non-healthcare-providers or non-prescribers.

Due to compliance regulations all non-registered persons (family members, accompanying persons) are not allowed to access the congress and the industry exhibition onsite.

Every participant registering for the congress confirms that the above mentioned conditions are fulfilled.

Photography and recording

All presentations and lectures are intellectual property of the authors and thus no audio or video shall be recorded or broadcasted at any time by the participants.
In accordance with the presenters the scientific sessions of the main meeting will be recorded and made available on the online platform.

Programme Changes

Any last minute changes due to functional, private or organisational will be announced on the congress website. The event organiser accepts no liability for any additional costs caused by a change of programme.

Cancellation of the onsite congress

In the event that the onsite congress cannot be held due to a situation of force majeure or cannot take place to the planned extent, such as pandemic contact restrictions, the organisers reserve the right to change the congress format into a fully virtually congress. Every onsite registration is automatically changed into an online registration.

Disclaimer

Neither ESPGHAN nor EUROKONGRESS GmbH shall be liable for accidents, bodily injury, and theft as well as for additional costs due to the change of the event date, location and programme or similar.

Liability for additional costs due to delays, changes or cancellations of flights, trains or other means of transport as well as due to strike action, illness, weather or environmental disasters is also excluded.

It is the responsibility of each participant to arrange appropriate theft-, accident-, health- as well as travel-cancellation insurance. Participants take part at their own responsibility and risk.

It is the responsibility of every online participant to meet the technical requirements needed for joining the online congress.

The organiser cannot be held liable for any restrictions set by your internet provider, state, or any other institution employing firewalls or any other network security systems.

Other provisions

German law shall apply to the entire contractual relationship, excluding international private law and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Munich is agreed as the exclusive place of jurisdiction.
